The Kenya Malaria Youth Corps is at the forefront of the fight against malaria. Recently,
they organized a “Pedal Against Malaria” event at Hell’s Gate in Naivasha to raise
awareness and mobilize communities to take action against the deadly disease.
The event saw young people cycling through the scenic landscape, carrying banners
and distributing educational materials on malaria prevention. The participants
emphasized the importance of using mosquito nets, seeking prompt medical treatment,
and eliminating mosquito breeding sites.
The Kenya Malaria Youth Corps is on the forefront in various initiatives, including
community outreach, health education, and advocacy for increased funding for malaria
control programs. Their efforts are crucial in reducing malaria transmission and saving
lives, especially in high-risk areas.
The "Pedal Against Malaria” event was a success, drawing attention to the ongoing fight
against malaria and inspiring more youths to join the cause.
