demanding justice, better governance, and an end to systemic inequalities. However,
these protests have been met with brutal force from the police, resulting in the tragic
loss of over 50 lives. Gen Z, known for its strong stance on human rights, has been at
the forefront of condemning this excessive use of force.
The younger generation has taken to social media and the streets to voice their outrage,
highlighting the deep-seated issues within the police force, including a culture of
impunity and a disregard for human life. They argue that the role of the police should be
to protect citizens, not to silence them through violence. The deaths of these protesters
have sparked a nationwide debate on the need for police reform and the protection of
the right to protest.
Gen Z is demanding accountability for those responsible for the killings, calling for
independent investigations and the prosecution of officers involved. They are also
advocating for systemic changes within the police force to prevent future occurrences of
brutality. The message from Gen Z is clear: police brutality has no place in a democratic
society, and the voices of the people must be heard without fear of violence or
repression. As they continue to mobilize, Gen Z is proving that they are a powerful force
for change, unafraid to stand up against injustice.
