The Generation Z (Gen Z) cohort is rising to the challenge of holding leadership
accountable for rampant greed that has plagued governance in many sectors. Known
for their vocal activism and refusal to accept the status quo, Gen Z is calling out leaders
whose actions have undermined public trust and contributed to widespread inequality.
The younger generation is increasingly frustrated with leaders who prioritize personal
gain over public service, using positions of power to enrich themselves while the
majority struggle with economic hardship.
Gen Z’s activism is grounded in their desire for transparency, accountability, and
fairness in leadership. They demand that leaders focus on the well-being of all citizens,
not just a select few. Social media has become a powerful tool in their arsenal,
amplifying their voices and bringing attention to instances of corruption and greed that
might otherwise go unnoticed. Through online campaigns, protests, and advocacy, Gen
Z is determined to hold leaders accountable and ensure that the interests of the people
are prioritized.
The call for action Is clear: it’s time for a shift in leadership that values integrity and
service over personal enrichment. Gen Z is not only calling out greedy leaders but also
encouraging their peers to engage in the political process to bring about meaningful
change. The future they envision is one where leadership is synonymous with
responsibility, honesty, and a commitment to the public good.
