My country is on fire
There is an outbreak of violence because of by-elections
Such a sad state of affairs in a free country
People losing peace, their minds, properties, rights and lives to elections is ugly
it should never be like this in a democracy
we must call out the hypocrisy
if indeed we are a free country and a thriving democracy
don’t be misused for a few pennies from big bellies
don’t be misused to kill our democracy
because when you kill our democracy, you kill your own freedom
Violence is an anti-thesis of free and fair elections
Violence cannot co-exist in the same sentence with free and fair elections
And a further truth is, true leadership cannot sprout from chaos
So, we say no, we say no, we say no, we say no to electoral violence.
