The People’s Peace

We drive through danger, we hive through pain

We strive through hunger, lest it’s not all in vain

We are ripe for hangers, yet forced to stay on lanes

We arrive in numbers; they kill in disdain their bane

Aren’t we now sober, haven’t we become our cranes

No longer somber, voices refuse to simmer and drain

We rise against the clobber, and his intent to maim

No longer mumbling in mummer, we are awake and sane

We are the sovereign, the harbingers of revolution,

We are the chosen, defenders of our Constitution,

We arise in dozens, freedom – our sole determination

No longer beholden, to the Tyrant’s deluded machinations

Oppression is by design, the Tyrant’s tool of subjugation,

No longer benign, the masses hum to this revelation,

Aware of the signs, we choose to abolish the aberrations:

Our stars will not align, to the oppressor’s constellation.

We are the Resistance, at the cusp of a new Dawn,

We champion vigilance, and death to the old Crone

We preach of Justice, and an end to all Wrongs

We are the People’s Peace. We sing of a new Song

Long Live the Revolution!
