If only I could get away with murder like the police do,,,

then many would be diseased…

Humble Kenyans being shoot down just for fighting for their rights.

They marched with placards,

not weapons.

They asked for accountability not war.

They  wanted a better tommorow, with peaceful minds

But mothers,,

Mothers stayed

Watching. Waiting. Wishing it was a dream.

Then government called it “casualties”

Talking about we’ll compensate the families of the fallen —

You cant buy back a breath.,

You can’t pay to erase a name.

So tell me Kenya.—-

When does “we’ll compensate you” stop being the answer?

How long  is “still investigating” when the street already

saw the truth?

We buried our people.

But we won’t bury the thruth

Because,

Justice delayed is justice denied

You see,

A silencing government cannot call itself a democratic

government.
