I need a new beginning like seriously, seriously,
I have been walking on shit and now I can’t stand my own smell
I can’t stand my own smell because I am reaping the fruits of my past mistakes
But that is not the story
That is absolutely not the story am here to tell
All that is in the past as I chose to live in the present
as I gift the future with an apology,
A different decision and a resolution to do better
I have been in shit
I have been in shit for a long time
and the time is now to stop the smell
I am not looking for pity, I know the reason I am guilty,
I know my duty and am ready
To write a better new story because the future has been calling,
begging me for a different present
An end to the stink and a start a new beginning
I am taking a walk to the IEBC

I have a face that they need to see and a voice
my country needs to hear
It has been messy and stinky and tricky policies
Crafted from great malice and treachery to further silence me
and keep me walking in my own shit
blaming every other enemy but me
I can’t take it anymore so
I am going to put my vote in order
because in the next election, I must stand to be counted
