Tuliuziwa idea ya democracy is a good thing
Which is true but underneath it
Terrible people rose to power
Bad ideas came to life, greed became their game
Oppression became their goal and for sure

What they sold to them they have taken

Where every chair has a voice
Yet wengi wetu our plates are empty
Na viti zimekuwa glued to the floor
Ndio tusirise to oppose them
Hii world imekuwa turned upside down
Just like that in the name of democracy

Sai democracy is not clarity
Lakini ni silaha inabebwa na those in authority
They twist it and make us think we chose this willingly
But wanafanya hivyo to serve their own interest na si humanity
Listen sote tuko na responsibility
Responsibility to the majority and the minority without any inequity
Let’s build humanity and restore our dignity
Democracy isitumike kutugawanya but ilete
Unity, diversity na hata clarity
Ndio tupendane vile napenda Charity
